The Expedition parka was originally designed for scientists at McMurdo Station in Antarctica. Whether your next journey leads to frozen urban jungles or remote ice fields, the Canada Goose Expedition parka delivers proven protection tested year after year by the National Science Foundation’s polar research programs in Antarctica.

Material List:
1. Taiwanese imported Y-shaped hook-and-loop fasteners (exclusive to the market)
2. South Korean imported 18-thread polyester-cotton blended fabric (same as authentic material)
3. GB-standard 80% white duck down (authentic products use 80% white duck down; any claim of 90% is fake)
4. Coyote fur from western Canada (not dyed fox fur misrepresented as coyote)

Material Characteristics:
1. Original-spec polyester-cotton fabric has high polyester content, offering excellent heat and light resistance, stability, vibrant color, high fiber strength, durability, and a crisp appearance.
2. It is well known that the original uses 80% white duck down. Fill power refers to the volume in cubic inches occupied by one ounce (30g) of down under standardized conditions. For example, if one ounce of down occupies 500 cubic inches, it is rated as 500-fill power. Simply put, higher fill power means greater loft, allowing the down to trap a larger layer of insulating air with the same weight of fill, resulting in superior thermal insulation and warmth.
3. Western Canadian coyote fur, carefully selected from the neck area for softness and fluffiness. Each fur strand measures 60–63 cm in length, with a width of 15–16 cm at the tip—optimal width combined with premium selection.
