ZF Crafts the 2020 New IWC Portugieser 40 with Meticulous Precision and Dedication

The same IWC, but a different Portugieser — abandoning intricate designs, this time expressing aesthetic philosophy through minimalism.

[Case] Measuring 40mm, it features a spacious dial, polished lugs, and brushed finishing on the case sides. The case shape is sleek and fluid, subtly reflecting the excellent German watchmaking heritage.

[Dial] Fitted with sapphire crystal featuring anti-reflective coating, the dial showcases classic feuille hands, raised Arabic numerals, applied hour markers, and the signature railway minute track. A small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock is adorned with a vinyl-like guilloché pattern, contributing to an overall clean and highly legible appearance.

[Movement] Faithfully recreates IWC’s in-house 82200 caliber, perfectly presenting IWC’s pride — the Pellaton automatic winding system. The movement layout, specifications, and winding experience deliver endless delight.
