Features of this 116519 model:
1. Two identical cement-gray Daytonas were purchased specifically for mold development—one disassembled for precise measurements, the other kept as a backup reference. One has already been completely scrapped, leaving only a perfectly intact dial face.
2. Hour markers have been fully upgraded: flat surfaces are precisely leveled, while side edges retain rounded corners, perfectly matching the original design.
3. Regarding the crystal: the genuine version does not use ultra-clear glass, and since it’s flat, it is prone to fingerprints. Excessively clear glass would appear fake; however, future versions may upgrade to higher transparency glass based on customer preference—perhaps this is the last stand for authenticity.
4. The case, being a precious metal model, features ‘750’ and Saint Bernard dog head engravings at the four bottom corners. This edition makes a strong effort to replicate these details accurately. Refer to detailed comparison images below. The only missing detail currently is a tuft of hair on the Saint Bernard’s head, which remains technically unachievable—an acknowledged imperfection.
5. The lugs on both sides of the case are individually crafted components. Compared to standard 116500 steel cases, this area incurs the highest production cost increase. Original parts were fully dismantled and recreated in exact 1:1 proportions, ensuring perfect interchangeability.
6. The Oysterflex strap uses genuine C-Factory rubber straps—not just a marketing gimmick. Detailed comparison photos are available below.
7. The clasp continues to use AR brand buckles, matching the opening/closing feel and fine details of the metal bracelet exactly.
C-Factory works surprisingly slowly, but we are dedicated to perfecting every component. We do not simply copy official color images superficially. This release will initially include only the cement-gray variant. Each subsequent colorway will be accompanied by authentic vs. replica comparison images, demonstrating our serious commitment to the Daytona model. We ask for your patience. Future releases will all be high-end pieces, with prices slightly higher than competitors—subject to personal judgment. We hope every watch enthusiast can find their most desired timepiece, even if it’s not from C-Factory.
