1. Left/Right: GEN = Genuine product; CLEAN = CLEAN factory product.
2. The left gray dial appears slightly different in color under softbox lighting, resulting in noticeable color variation. However, under natural light, the similarity exceeds 95%. Natural light comparison images will follow.
3. For the blue dial on the right, the C factory version is slightly lighter than the genuine one. That said, the nature of radial dials means they display different hues under varying lighting conditions. To be precise, as long as the RGB values remain within a consistent baseline range, the overall appearance remains highly accurate. C factory uses the same PVD plating technology as the original for all its radial dials—including Submariner dials, various Datejust dials, and this Yachtmaster—ensuring consistent color across production batches. This method avoids tone variations between batches. Additionally, the thin coating allows clear visibility of the underlying sunburst texture. The downside is higher production cost.
4. This model features a bezel plated with PVD white gold and an anti-fingerprint coating. The base material has been upgraded from standard brass to stainless steel. This means that even if the bezel suffers impact damage and the plating wears off, the exposed base metal will still closely match the white gold color. Furthermore, stainless steel offers greater hardness than regular brass, reflecting significant investment in both manufacturing precision and production cost.
