Clean Factory 226570 Explorer II with Dandong 3285 Movement

This release of the Clean Factory 226570 Explorer II comes in black and white dial variants, featuring the Dandong 3285 movement. This caliber is identical to the one used in the 126710 model, but the 3285 movement in the 226570 is enlarged in size. The date window position also differs from that of the 126710.

As a result, most current market versions of the 226570 incorrectly place the date due to the niche status of the Explorer II, which discourages movement manufacturers from investing in dedicated development for this specific size. It took Clean over a year to convince the Dandong movement factory to specially develop this larger-sized movement.

Differences in bezel font thickness exist between models:
– There are notable differences between the 226570 and 216570, including movement upgrades, consistent 42mm case size, redesigned casing, modified hands, and variations in the thickness of the numerals on the bezel.

Due to production year differences, authentic black dials retain the older, thinner bezel font, while the white dial version—purchased in 22023—features the newer, bolder font.

The Explorer II is a rare and distinctive timepiece within the entire Rolex lineup. Prior to Clean’s version, no truly satisfactory replica had been available. We hope Clean continues to deliver even more exceptional products in the future.
