This release from Clean features the model 226570 in black and white dials, with the standout being the use of the Dandong 3285 movement. This is the same caliber used in the 126710, but specially modified for the 226570 with a larger size. The date position differs from the 126710, making most existing versions on the market incorrect, as the Explorer II is relatively niche and movement manufacturers are generally unwilling to develop custom-sized movements.

Clean spent over a year persuading the Dandong movement factory to produce this unique large-size 3285 movement exclusively for this model.

Notable differences include:
– Bezel font thickness: The authentic black dial version retains the older thin font due to its production year, while the white dial (purchased in 2023) features the newer thick font.
– Differences between models 226570 and 216570 are significant, including changes in movement, case design, hands, and bezel font thickness.
