The pure black dial resembles a twilight sky, accentuating the vibrant rainbow indices on the dial and bezel. Compared to the first generation, this year’s new Rainbow Daytona features three main updates in dial markers, hand color, and case material. In this second generation, Rolex has replaced the square baguette diamond indices with elongated gemstone markers. Remarkably, these gemstone indices are also arranged in a gradient pattern, precisely matching the hues of the colored gems on the bezel. The case and bracelet of the ‘Second-Generation Rainbow Daytona’ are crafted from 316L stainless steel, with all details processed entirely via CNC machining, followed by meticulous hand-finishing, polishing, and quality inspection. The bezel angle, as well as the size, number, and color of the gems, perfectly match the gradient effect of the boutique-exclusive models. The dial is equipped with a K movement based on the 7750 caliber, offering chronograph functionality identical to the original. The bracelet features an Oysterlock safety clasp that prevents accidental opening. This elegant solid-link bracelet ensures comfortable wear and extremely convenient operation. The most distinctive feature of this timepiece lies in its colorful gem-set bezel and the twelve colored diamond hour markers on the dial, with their gradient colors harmoniously aligned. These gems radiate brilliant red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet tones, creating a mesmerizing chromatic display. Rolex has carefully selected exquisite, finely cut gemstones and assembled them together, endowing the watch with extraordinary brilliance and visual allure.
