Wearing this piece reminded me of my original passion for luxury brands — it was YSL that first drew me in. My very first designer bag over a decade ago was also from YSL. After all these years, that affection has come full circle. YSL used to embody an elegant, restrained kind of sensuality — sophisticated and almost ascetic. YSL has become increasingly accessible and wearable; whether that’s a good or bad evolution, I’m not sure, but personally, I’m completely smitten with this piece.
