I really don’t want to call it a trash bag because it’s simply too beautiful—it looks nothing like one. I fell in love the moment I tried it on. Wearing this piece reminded me of my original passion for luxury brands—YSL was exactly where it all began. My first designer bag over a decade ago was also from YSL. After all these years, that affection has come full circle.

YSL used to embody an elegant, restrained sensuality—luxurious yet disciplined. Back then, only slim, sophisticated women seemed to truly carry their style. Among the popular ‘slouchy’ or so-called ‘trash bag’ styles that have emerged in recent years, this Jamie bag is by far my favorite—simply because it looks stunning when worn.

YSL has become increasingly accessible and wearable. Whether that’s a good or bad thing is debatable—but personally, I’m completely smitten with this piece. The size and capacity are perfectly balanced, the leather is beautifully soft, and most importantly, the shoulder strap length is absolutely ideal.
