Based on image comparisons, here are the points many people care about: the three small silver sub-dials on the dial. The biggest update in the 4131 model is that a polished ring has been added around the edge of each sub-dial. Clean executed this detail very well—both the bevel and shine are excellent. However, personally, I feel the texture within the silver-gray sub-dials is not quite as refined as the genuine article, though it’s invisible to the naked eye. Please refer to the natural light comparison images for details.
Other aspects such as the hour markers and luminescence have also been well done. P.S.: As mentioned above, Rolex officially changed the pointer tips to cylindrical shape starting with the genuine 4131 movement. However, among the four authentic watches provided by Clean, we noticed several inconsistencies—for example, differences in the roundness of the hour markers, and some hands still use the older conical tips. This suggests Rolex may be clearing out remaining 4130 inventory.
There are also comparison photos for the case and bracelet; overall, there is little visible difference in appearance.
Despite extremely tight timing, Clean purchased five authentic watches immediately upon release. Reportedly, the depreciation in value of these timepieces alone has exceeded 100,000 USD—not including dismantled watches or damaged components.
After carefully examining both authentic and replica pieces in person and through photography, I personally believe this is an exceptional creation.
The selection of SH4131 involves very complex considerations. I hope everyone can understand that SH does not equate to low quality. Likewise, Clean has never compromised procurement costs to increase profit margins. Clean told me that the movement procurement cost for this SH4131 is no lower than that of the DD4130.
