I really don’t want to call it a ‘trash bag’ because it’s simply too beautiful—definitely not trashy at all. I fell in love with it the moment I wore it. But in recent years, the brand’s aesthetic has evolved into something more relaxed and effortless, perhaps reflecting broader fashion trends. This Jamie tote is one of the most popular ‘trash bag’-style bags that have emerged in recent years, and it’s by far my favorite. Worn in person, it looks absolutely stunning.
YSL has become increasingly accessible and wearable—whether that’s a good or bad thing is debatable—but personally, I’m completely smitten with this piece. The size and capacity are perfectly balanced, the leather is beautifully soft, and most importantly, the shoulder strap length is just—just right.
