This is the 11th special edition timepiece by IWC Schaffhausen for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, featuring a clean chronograph layout. The 42mm stainless steel case is fitted with a sapphire crystal glass and a stainless steel pin buckle, offering 30 meters of water resistance. The movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and features an automatic winding mechanism. The minute counter is positioned at 12 o’clock, allowing intuitive reading of chronograph information just like telling the time, while the small seconds subdial and date window are located at 6 o’clock. The case back is engraved with the words ‘Laureus Sport for Good Foundation’ along with a prize-winning children’s artwork—a self-portrait of a young boy participating in a skiing competition at the East Asian Special Olympics.
